Research Interests

Dr. Ganguly’s research focusses on experimental studies on magnetization and domain wall dynamics in thin film multilayers. The measurement includes optical as well as electrical technique, for example, moke microscopy and ferromagnetic resonance. He investigates domain wall propagation and magnetization reversal in response to current and field induced excitation. His aim is to understand fundamental microscopic phenomena like DMI and chiral damping for memory and logic device based application.
