Antiferromagnetic spin-orbitronics


​In the race of energy-efficient non-volatile devices, antiferromagnets stand out as disruptive materials that can entirely renew the paradigm of metallic spintronics. The emergence of spin-orbitronics is now building a bridge between antiferromagnets and potential applications. The present initiative introduces an ambitious research program, oriented towards the device conception and gathering an interdisciplinary team of experts in materials science, device physics and condensed matter theory, that aims at exploring and demonstrating the outstanding possibilities offered by the marriage between spin-orbitronics and antiferromagnetic spintronics.
